A friend of mine has a connection with a former Neb player whose parents are big donors. He has been getting some info and passing it to me. I have no reason to doubt him but make of it what you will. Keep in mind that Bo is about ready for a HC job and has a good reputation, and Nebraska faculty and fans really like him. Many feel he should've gotten the job instead of Callahan.

I was thinking of posting all the information that he passed to me, because it is very detailed on what will happen, time frames, and what other coaches could possibly be hired on staff, which one of them is Mike Stoops from Arizona as the DC.

But I think this could open a can of worms and lead to distractions for LSU's defense and team. I'm not sure if I want to do that.

I personally think it maybe a done deal after all the details I've received.

Its already posted on an eATMe forum in full detail. I was sent the link to it yesterday but didnt want to post it here. If you want to read all of it go to an eATMm forum for all the juicy details.

I do not think you should post anymore about this. I can assure you it is NOT a done deal and that Mike Stoops is not gone from AZ as of yet. I AM CERTAIN OF THE AZ angle, so if this is part of the details then you can not believe it.
If you would have left Stoops out I would not have even posted, but I am way to close to this program (AZ) and it is not a done deal. You should probably reconsider the whole story!

Do you think Pelini has been contacted by Big Red? If so wouldn't they have to have permission from LSU to contact Pelini? Does anyone know or is this just something that happens in the NFL?

That kind of made me skeptical also. I hadn't hear anything about AZ getting impatient with Stoops. And why in the hell would he want to leave on his own for a lesser position?

The agents and lawyers would talk, not the coach. Keeps it nice and neat.

I've heard it was more of a wait and see with Mike Stoops. It was a wait and see if he was leaving Arizona and whether or not he would be heading back to OU. I didn't hear that Stoops was definitely out at AZ but it was a wait and see situation.

Contrary to the feeling on Stoops I think the AZ angle sounds somewhat legit. Stoops has not done that well and now with Erickson at State the heat has been turned up significantly on AZ. A couple of AZ associates have told me on more than one occasion that they think Stoops is going to get owned by Erickson and he hasnt developed well. They think he is just too inexperienced to be dealing with the likes of Erickson.
