http://www.washingtontimes.com/news...Feed&utm_medium=RSS&google_editors_picks=true "A service member’s commander plays a big role in shepherding the patient through the sex transition. " No matter your view on the subject of transgender. .. It is not the job of a unit commander to "Shepard" a troop through the process. If I was the leader of the Chinese military I would be laughing and planning an invasion.
You'd be wasting your time. At the rate we are spiraling in, we will be gone before you could kick our azz.
Unfortunately, this is not new. While I was at Naval Postgrad School in Monterey, CA in 1986 - 1987, my wife became really good friends with a marine officer, Allyn. My friends were concerned for me that something was going on, but I knew,no problem. Could just tell. Fast forward to Chtristmas, 1988, we had been out of Monterey a year. Allyn's Christmas letter had "big news". "By this time, next year I will be simply, "Lynn." He went on and on about his own courage and about how much money PG school had spent on his counselling, his multiple appointments, and surgeries. Then he went on about how the school had provided multi-day training for all his colleagues about how they had to deal with his transition. Any of you paying taxes in 1988, paid for this. As a naval officer and tax payer I was outraged, but to be honest, it provided years, Hell, decades, of comedic material. This was my go to shit for years!
I can't wait to read the field manual on 'Transgender Shepherding' a Marine and his/her unit through the process.
Never played Pebble Beach, but played Spyglass A LOT. We used to go out for the like 5:00pm rate or something. Affordable, but the marshall liked us and over time, we moved to about 2:30 or 3:00. Also played a lot at Fort Ord, that in the day was a pretty respectable golf course. Most of my friends played Pebble Beach, but I did not.
