Everybody knows that teams like ours ALWAYS follows up one somewhat shaky offensive performance with a LIGHTS OUT NEXT GAME!!! I'll bet that the BIG D is able to get more sacks against Georgia than we did tonight, also!! Some folks might say that we didn't get an impressive win tonight. I'LL BET THAT WE BOUNCE BACK BIG AGAINST GEORGIA!! Truth be told, I'll be perfectly happy if we beat the Bulldawgs by a mere 2 points.
I'll be ecstatic even if we beat UGA by one point on a lousy penalty on our extra point giving us a second chance at the PAT.... Wait... a bit of deja vu there....
I'll bet you would be! We both tried to tell these FD&H Miles Homers about a close Arkansas game ... and they'd have none of it ... Those FAT DUMB & HAPPY homers had us stomping Arkansas :grin: However, I'll say this ... I'd take a 2-point win RIGHT NOW! LSU plays conservatively and they will lose to Georgia ... after all ... this is a team one year removed from a 45-13 stomping of LSU.
That would be a great result! I'm hoping that this thread gets legs so that we can move on past this game and start to focus on the next game. :lsup:
I always say it is good to win ugly sometimes to reshape your focus, but at the same time, this does us no favors in the computers
I don't really care about the NC or the Rose Bowl! I just want to win the SEC. That's all I want for Christmas. PS Beating WV in the Sugar Bowl would be great, too.
I know, but I still want ot be #3 just in case... b/c Texas showed me a whole lot of nothing today, and Iowa St. is hot, and has already beaten Iowa...
clair go ahead and mark it down Iowa State is going to give Texas all it wants. I would love for an upset. I hate texas.
Arky is not the same team that played USC. They played us a good game. We didn't have our best stuff today, on offense. Lotta drops. It should motivate some folks to play better next week. If we don't have our best stuff, we lose. Maybe today serves as a wakeup call? I hope so.
