1. i was watching Fox Southwest recruiting last night and the Texan broadcasters were pronouncing the "oux" in Perrilloux as Lou... as in Lou Diamond Phillips.

i always pronounced it Low. anyone know which is correct?

they were also very high on DeMarcus Granger. saying how in the US Army all-American game practices this week he was virtually unstopable.

they commented on OU being the frontrunner, but that LSU also has a chance of landing him. lets hope Miles closes this guy.

    :geaux:
  2. I don't know the family to verify, but I'm pretty sure it's pronounced 'pear-uh-lew'. If it were spelled Perrilleaux then we'd be saying 'pear-uh-low' :)
  3. Hey, if anybody can be OU at something, it's Coach Miles! :hihi:
  4. Not sure how Ryans family pronounces it but the many people I know with the same last name pronounce it lou and not low.
  5. I've always pronounced it "lou", but I'm just a dumb Texan. :thumb:
  6. Are the 'll" supposed to be silent, so they make a 'y' sound? Maybe that's just in Spanish.
  7. I have heard it lou from some people that live around the area he is from.
  8. It's pronounced, "Pear-e-goingtolsu" :thumb:

  9. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: nice
  10. I always pronounced it as "lew" and so has everyone else that I've heard say it.
