As are all of yall, I'm totally pumped up from today. An amazing finish was the icing on the cake.
I expect Ware, Ego, and Dickson to see the most PT. Ware has the potiential to be a stud RB, and Ego should backup either Downs or Nevis as a disruptive 3 tech.

So here's how i feel about each player in this class.
    Total Breakdown or our class

QB: Zach Lee: Stud baseball player, very good QB who should immediatly step in at number 3 behind JJ and Garrett.

    RB:
Ware: Absolute stud, so much power and vision its unreal.
Alfred Blue: May not stay here, might be switched to LB
Jahkori Gore: Dangerous in open field will be use plenty on screens and tosses.

    FB:
Brandon Worle: Beastly rusher with serious blocking and catching ability

    WR:
Kadron Boone: Should see early time, great route runner with good speed.
Armand Williams: Possession guy, kind of in the mold of Dwayne Bowe
Jarrett Fobbs: Watch for him to move to slot to use his blazing speed.
James Wright: Aggressive, tall powerful reminds me of Lafell

    TE:
Travis Dickson: Will contribute early, should be #3 on the chart behind Peterson and Love
Nick Jacobs: Huge body, amazing blocker who may be moved to OT or DE

    OT
Evan Washington: Raw but extremely athletic and talented

    OG
Elliot Porter: Will need time to adjust, but should see playing time by his jr year.

    OC Cameron Fordham
Will convert from tight end and become a center, must bulk up

***D line was the most important part and was upgraded greatly

    DT:
J.C Copeland: Quick, fast, and an intense motor. Will be amazing in purple and gold

Ego Ferguson: An aboslute must get Ego is dominant and disruptive, well spoken and a key piece of this class.

    DE:
Jordan Allen: Looking for great things from him. Big 6'6 270, gets great push and can play the run as well as the past, will be a stud.

Ken Adams: Pass rusher who needs to bulk up, should be a 3rd down pass rushing specialist who will need time in the weight room.

    DE/LB
Justin Maclin. Quick aggessive may move to OLB and in my eyes will be a replica of Sergio Kendell of texas, amazing passrusher who can cover

    LB
D.J Welter: Instictive and amazing as reading and reacting.

Luke Munice: Can run with WRs and TEs, should be a good one

S: Eric Reid: Absolute stud, big fast strong and smart. Will be an amazing player who should get playing time relatively early

S: Tharold Simon: Tall and has great ball skills, can play WR but will play S, will play at FS and should be pretty good.

CB: Ronnie Vinson: Great hips can stop and turn on a dime, should most likely be at dime

CB: Tyran Matheui: Sleeper, can really run and hit

CB/S Sam Gibson: Great build, will need to find his place on either offense or defense.

K Brad Wing: Will provide stability to both the kicking and punting game, son of a former NFL punter, has the blood lines and is amazing at hangtime

I think that just about covers it. The only comment I have is about ranking or stars. I really like our 3 star guys like Welter, Worle, Jacobs, Fordham, Muncie, Wing, etc.and don't understand how some of them especially Welter and Worle were not ranked as 4 star players. :milesmic:

aren't you forgetting someone? do you truly think he will pass up Jarett Lee? seems like jumping the gun a little.

    I like the rest

Copeland looks like the real deal to me, if he can add 15-20lbs before the start of the season I could see him on long passing downs. I think he needs to add a little weight to get in there on rundowns. Still I have never seen anyone avoid blocks like that guy before.

Ego could get in there with a rotation as well.

So at DT you have Drake Nevis(Sr), Lavar Edwards(So), Josh Downs(So) then have Copeland and Ego come in as well. I am assuming here that Chris Davenport moves to OL. Ego said he wanted to play early so I have to assume Davenport is gone to OL.

You have to look at Boone as getting some playing time at WR and Fobbs on kickoff and/or punt return.

Ware could actually get plenty of playing time depending on how Ridley and Ford work out which is kind of unknown, and Gore to me is a possibility on passing downs. Blue seems like a redshirt.

Reid and Vinson both look like they are physically ready as well.

The recruit that wows me the most is JC Copeland.
The recruit that I think will be a surprise is A. Williams.

All in all LSU needs to get some of these freshman on the field.

Ego will definitely play, but I think it will be at DE. Ware's PT will depend completely on how fast he learns the position, as he has not played RB in HS. If he picks it up fast, the PT will be there for him.

Dickson can come in & start at TE from day 1 but only if Peterson doesn't improve. Otherwise he'll likely be a backup with limited PT next year. Same thing with Worle - if nobody in front of him improves, he starts at FB.

I expect one WR from this class to get PT, and I have to assume that it will be Boone. Wright would be my second pick.
    TE:

I think Copeland will move inside to DT, in a Nevis mold & could see PT next year in the rotation.

I'm not sure where Jordan Allen is going to end up. His own coach says he may be better on the OL, but I think he stays at DL for his redshirt freshman year & we see from there.

Ken Adams, I believe is enrolled already, which gives him a leg-up at DE competition. He's also a JUCO so he'll be expect to play next year. However, we took him before getting Copeland & Ego on NSD, so we'll see what he's able to do.

Justin Maclin is a guy that I think needs some time in the system to find his roll, but has a very high ceiling.

Former co-worker is the father of Alfred Blue...still works for the same company but in Houston. I'll have to check with some guys at work who have been in touch and see what their true plan is for him.

According to Shea, Ware is looking out of shape in summer workouts. I have to assume that this is due primarily to him adjusting to south Louisiana weather at this time of the year. However, it also probably has to do with him having played baseball & football.

Either way, I'm now thinking Ware will probably RS to give some distance between him and Ford.

The heat down here is a different kind then most places. The humidity is brutual. Today is 95 but the heat index is ridiculous. Give these up north boys some times to get use to it. I'm sure Joe Barksdale had hell trying to coming from Michigan.
