http://www.collegefootballnews.com/2005/Columnists/Fiu/COW/Cavalcade_of_Whimsy.htm 3. Auburn fans still screaming about not playing for the 2004 national title It’s like the Duke brothers in Trading Places, after losing all their money after betting heavily on the frozen concentrated orange juice market, yelling to get the traders back and to turn the machines back on. Yes, Auburn fans, you got the short end of the stick, but you’re Tigers aren’t going to get their shot at USC. 2. Three-Pete There’s a rumor going around that the AP will change its 2003 champion to LSU if the obnoxious term Three-Pete is used in more than five headlines. Amen.
Hahaha. That's awesome. That column is great...except for the part where he says that Stephen A. Smith is overrated. But I'll overlook that for the time.
I'm sick of people who use you're instead of your. I agreed with what he said, but you would think this guy would know better.
My favorite is when people use "it's" when they mean "its" and vice versa. Reminds me of a Strong Bad email: <singing to the tune of "100 bottles of beer on the wall> "oh, if you want the possessive, it's "I-T-S", but if you want the contraction, it's "I-T-apostrophe-S."
Ah.. and i hate those nitpicky morons who never can make a good argument... instead, they moonlight as English teacher...
Why isnt he sick of hearing people who are not fans of USC complaining about the fact that USC was the AP champion of 03?:hihi: Just giving you ****:geauxtige
