I will not be surprised by that one bit.
Dude is money.
He should have won the Heisman but Michael Vick 2.0 won it.
Definitely has the ball skills and impact to win it.
11 writers for NFL.com predicted their defensive rookie of the year, only three guys got more than 1 vote - Ziggy Ansah got 3, TM7 got 2, Dion Jordan got 2
had RG3 not been around, it would have gone to Andrew Luck, then Trent Richardson, each of whom got more than triple the Heisman votes that TM7 got. Monte Ball had more total votes than TM7 but TM7 got more first place votes than Ball. TM7 did beat Russell Wilson and everybody else in college football that year
Robert Griffin III also won NFL offensive rookie of the year.
We never know what would have happened had he not been suspended for that game. It killed the momentum that nothing he did in the SECCG could reverse enough. The fact he made it to NY after that speaks volumes of the respect he was given for his talent.
And you also saw how effective RG was when forced to actually be a non running qb. Without the threat of his legs he is nothing.
And I'm not talking votes I'm talking about who the best football player was. TM7
force TM7 to be a non running player and he won't be effective at all
as for MVP, had we had Andrew Luck instead of TM7 it would have been much tougher for Bama to beat us. We already had two 1st Round DBs in Reid and Claiborne
Tell it brother. Mathieu was the best and it wasn't even close.
