According to Yahoo Sports, Petrino has said:
--I have met with LSU but there is no offer on the table
--I am focusing on my job with Louisville
--noted his fondness for Louisville, said he is happy there
--his family is happy at Louisville and that's where we want to be.
--I just signed a new contract with Louisville a few days ago.

Sound familiar? It's getting to be the same old statements, just fill in a name. Don't any HCs have any integrity anymore? Ya'll should make note of Petrino's comments so you don't get mad at him when you hear them again one day as he leaves LSU (assuming you hire him).

Why are you and all the other Barner peanut gallery over here? The last time I checked, you guys had a game for second place Monday w/ Va. Tech. Shouldn't you be over there discussing that, instead of stirring the pot over here? Or is that what you're all about...stirring the pot, that is?

ProudTiger is a good dude. He is saying NOTHING different then we are saying. I dont think he is here to start a mess, and frankly he has a point... I would love to have Petrino but if he comes here (still a long shot) isnt it Ironic we are hiring a coach who did to Louisville the exact same thing we bitched about Saban doing..

Many AU fans are bitter towards him which is totally understandable as many are against Saban...except Petrino didn't bring them a NC so put yourself in their shoes.

I don't think he's stirring the pot. In all fairness, Proud Tiger has a point. Here's a crude analogy....

You meet this married chick that is everything you ever wanted in a woman. You two hit it off perfectly and she leaves her husband for you.... Shouldn't you keep in mind that if she broke a lifetime commitment to one man, that conceivably she could do it again to you?

If we hire him or anyone else for that matter, we should keep these scenarios in mind as it could easily happen again.
