It's pretty good...I've been to a few and never had a bad experience. Never really had a great experience either, but you'll enjoy yourself. LSUcraig is right...lettuce wraps all the way!

Hope there are a bunch of you going. Famliy-style where you can taste a bit of everything is the way to go.

    Lettuce wraps are A-1!

Authentic Chinese food, which significantly varies by region, is quite different than any Chinese food I have ever eaten in the US.

As Chinese food goes, I don't think it is a stretch to say that PFChang's is much better than what you find on a typical buffet in town. But then again, if you order off the menu, it is always better than off the buffet.

And the ambiance is great, too.

  8. Sorry but I definitely disagree on the vastly overrated comment. Dont kow about authentic chinese because I've never been to China. PF Changs is one of my favorites, I got used to eating there in Orlando when I used to live there a few years ago. Awesome food. My usual is the Lemon Pepper Shrimp and the Lettuce Wraps. :thumb:

most if not all chinese food in america is americanized and its because its what's preferred and expected.

that being said, its definitely not overrated unless you think you are at a PFs in beijing.

Just got back from dinner, then we saw Bewitched with our two passes.

I liked the food. It was on par with Hunan's at least. What I didn't like about it is the atmosphere.

I couldn't hear myself think in the damn place. Definitely not a place to take the wife out for a romantic dinner. Carrabba's is also like that.

If I want to take the wife out for a nice Chinese dinner in BR, I'm going to Hunans next time ;)
