One of the reasons i love college football is you dont really have to deal with the ego's as much as in the pro's. College's have a little more power over the behavior of their players.

Although someone like Terrill Owens doesnt care about anybody but himself. He is selfish and what team in their right mind would want someone like him on it.

Can you see Terrill Owens on Coach Saban's team. Coach Saban would go off on him like a monster.

I say Philly didnt realize what they were getting. Did they think he would change from the way he acted in San Francisco.

The guy is a soap opera waiting to happen.

Future reality T.V. star is my prediction for him.

Good riddance from the NFL .

Nick would make way with Owens... much like he did with Rickey Williams...

T.O. has a point: He DOES deserve more money, but he is going about it the wrong way...

I think that now with the Pinkston injury, Owens has 100% control, b/c the Eagles can't afford to play without their #1 AND #2 WR.

What people don't see here a lot of the time is the "other side of the story." I do believe that Terrell Owens is telling the truth when he says that the coaches 'isolate' him or single him out, but you will never see someone in the media say that, because it is easier to market if the player is the bad guy, instead of the coach.

So yeah, Owens is a bad example of what a player should be, but I do think that he does have a point, because his contract is a joke, and I do think that the Eagles are a bit at fault as well, because he didn't have to show up at camp, and when he did, they isolated him, and still treated him like he was an outcast.

    So both sides are wrong.

I disagree . Terrill Owens signed that contract and he is supposed to live up to it. It is the behavior he has to take responsibility for.

He isolated himself from teammates by the way he acted.

It makes me angry when players sign these contracts and then a year later they hold out because they dont like their long term guaranteed contract anymore. That is why fans cant afford to go to the games anymore.

    Where does all this end.

Fans refusing to pay to see arrogant babies throwing tantrums when things dont go their way.

I blame the owners just as much as i blame the players. And agents too.

5.00 cold drinks. 8.00 hot dogs. You better eat before you go to these games or else you get raped.

dude it is expensive to eat/drink at ANY sporting event... They can do that, b/c people still buy it...

Owens signed his deal, but got very little guaranteed money...

All he is said to have wanted is a big up front bonus... That can be worked out... players renegotiate all of the time...

I know that if I owned a team, I would love to have him on my team, b/c as he proved in the Super Bowl last year, he would do anything to win.

You said he was isolated b/c of how he acted?

How exactly did he act? He showed up on time like everyone else didn't he?

All the highlights I saw of him while he was there was that he was catching deep passes...

I do think both sides are wrong to an extent, but with the Pinkston injury, Owens will get his money soon, or else he will haev the last laugh when the Eagles go 8-8 this year.

I think that's up for debate. I think the simplified offense will bust them over .500 .
