Arkansas has unrealistic expectations. Morris is the guy who laid the foundation at SMU and impressed me when he was in Dallas. I realize that losing like that to Western Kentucky is really bad. But they are not going to attract a big time coach to take his place. And any coach who claims that he has the formula for Arkansas to be a factor in the SEC West is just telling the Ark hiring team what they want to hear.
Found out after I posted this here. He's also on the list at NC State. It's a reality of life at our school. They are also saying he might not have enough experience yet. A big reason for our success of the last few decades is because of coaching stability. Jerry Moore had offers but never wanted to leave and Scott Satterfield was a homie that would only leave for the "right" opportunity (Big cash). Prior to that, most coaches got poached pretty quickly.
