Pissed with the talking heads

I am not sure if anyone has vented regarding this yet, but I have to say that I'm pissed with everyone saying that LSU does not deserve to be in the 'ship. Especially those up here in Bulldog country! What gets me is that in 2003, these same people (the talking heads and others) thought OU should not have played in the big game because they did not win their conference. But, now, they're all singing a different tune.

I really don't care what they say, cause they're usually people that have hidden agendas, except UGh-A fans and Granny Holtz.

 

I'm sure UGA fans are pumping their chests for beating the WAC conference champs. I give MSU more credit for beating the CUSA champs.

And as for the talking heads.

It don't mean a damn thing!

 

Most of us her don't care about them, we just make fun of them.

 

Don't worry, he is just writing to get people to read. He doesn't understand that its not about who is playing best at that point in time, if that were so then it should have been LSU in the championship game last year, but its about the season as a whole and our 2 loss season was better than anyone elses on top of winning a championship. He knows there are plenty of arguments to support LSU vs OSU. He is just trying to create internet traffic to his otherwise useless opinion.

 

I believe that this is all (just like in 2003) a way for the elite of college football (Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Ohio State, USC, Michigan, etc.) to say that LSU does not belong amongst them... There would never be a question as to whether one of these teams belonged in had they made it...

 

Think nothing of it... they also send out little jewels like this to balance it...

Everyone hates you when their season's over and they're left with an empty feeling in the pit of their stomach. Meanwhile, we have a date with destiny.... There are worse problems to have I suppose.

 

doesn't bother me near as much as "the ship" does.

 

Three more days and we will have the answer.
Then, Tuesday morning, we'll get four more days from the talking heads telling us they had it right... from the get-go.

 

Kinda confused....I keep hearing that OSU is pissed b/c no one is giving them any respect in this game yet all the talking heads are picking OSU. Then LSU fan gets pissed every time the talking heads pick against the Tigers. :huh:

Anyway...I love reading these article and listening to the spittin lou's of the college football world. IMO, LSU plays the underdog role as good as anybody.
