The more I read and hear the more I respect her. SHe has done an excellent job of taking over the coaching responsiblities from Coach Gunter. Class act all the way.
Pokey has a great coaching mind to support her in Coach Bob Starkey. He is an unsung hero IMHO, and while I basically agree with your post, I wonder if Pokey would have done as good a job without Bob at her side. It goes without saying that the team and staff as a whole should be applauded for rising above tough circumstances to play well (for the most part) without Coach Gunter. Here's hoping for success in the NCAAs, and improving health for Sue Gunter!
