I think since they've been ranked number 2 they've forgotten how lucky they've been. If Auburn plays as well as they played against us, Florida's got a reality check coming awful soon.
That may be true, but remember - we need them Gators this weekend if we're gonna stand a chance in the West....
Poor Auburn... they're about to see the best offense up to now on their schedule and get beat at home two weekends in a row They might make this guy look good after it's over. :hihi:  :hihi: I think this guy's the one who pushed the LSU fan "Dissing the gata".
Auburn didn't perform that well against LSU. Auburn made 1 and 1/2 drives, one scored a TD and the other was a missed FG. LSU moved the ball fairly well against AU. UF moved the ball much better than AU did and LSU's D is better than AU. I think some of the schemes on LSU's D was too soft opened the field up for UF, but UF will move the ball fine on AU. Unless, AU blitzes a lot and knocks Leak around a bit, then AU may pull it out. If Leak gets pressured and knocked down a bit, and sees blitzes a lot, he faulters really bad. That was why I didn't like the idea of Bo not going after him. It looked like Bo was scared to get burned by the spread offense. Which we got burned a few times anyway.
Nah, I gotta disagree. Florida is gonna get smashed. They only beat us because we scored their points for them. Auburn's D may not be as good as ours, but I'm willing to bet their O isn't gonna give up 5 freak turnovers either.
Florida will find that playing a top-10 team on the road is a lot different than playing at home. Auburn will take them in Jordan-hare.
I don't know, I think Florida might take them. South Carolina went up and down the field on Auburn by spreading the field. Florida does a great job of spreading the field and that seems to be Auburn's weakness. I would think they would run a lot of delay draws and do those one on one laterals like they did against LSU. I would expect Tebow to get a lot of touches too with the field spread. If Irons runs like he did last week (he had turf toe), I think Auburn will struggle pretty bad to move the ball. And Cox is still kind of hurt. The announcers said last week that Tommy T. commented that his team was still banged up from the LSU game. Pretty amazing considering we lost...Anyway, if those guys are healthy, they stand a much better chance. Also, I don't really see how Florida has been lucky. They've played well and the teams they've played against have struggled. I know we turned the ball over 5 times, but that's because we're not as good as them right now. That's part of football and they haven't turned the ball over like that in a big game and lost.
You do realize that this is an elimination game for LSU bascially. If Auburn wins, we can forget about the SEC just like we already can forget about the national picture. If Florida wins, we are very much in the hunt. Assuming win out, we just need one loss from Auburn and one loss from Arkansas, which is possible.
The way the games are going today you can expect the unexpected. Except the LSU/UK game. Tigers kick butt!:thumb:
