Did LSU offer pryor early in the process or only after the all star game when he said "I wish LSU had recruited me". If LSU had gotten on him early do you think the Tigers could have landed him? :geaux:
It would shock me if we hadn't offered WAY early. I think the AAA game comments fanned oxygen on the burning embers, but I can't imagine we didn't at least offer very early on. Hell, we've already offered some LA kids for 2009.
Awhile ago one of the coaches mentioned that they visited him early on and they did not get a feeling that he was interested at all. LSU coaches had to focus attention in other areas especially with the talent at QB looking our way in '09. He came calling and the coaches pushed hard in the end.
