I dont think i will be a big fan of the purple pants if they do wear them. I like the jerseys they have now(with a small amount of purple).
Did Hell freeze over? Purple pants were tried under dinardo and they were wretched. Everybody hated them. They were plain purple without stripes and they looked like leotards out there. Dinardo scrapped them the following Sunday. No way.
One thing no coach or AD should mess with is LSU's football uniform. The uniform is classic and timeless. You don't see Michigan and Penn State changing uniforms or colors. Teams with no tradition like UF or Miami change their uniforms all the time, but LSU has found the right combo. LSU was like number 4 or 5 in a national poll on best college uniforms. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
