Hey, can anyone tell me what the QB situation for the bowl game is. I don't really get what Les was talking about when he said,

"We will have to see if JaMarcus is completely ruled out. I don't know if that is the case. If he is, we will look at our roster. I don't know if we want to play Ryan Perrilloux in that game, period. I think we have enough choices on our team to put a quarterback out there that will give us an opportunity to win. Skyler (Green) played quarterback in the last game, and his snaps averaged over 10 (yards a carry). We might have to give him a bigger piece of the pie. There are a number of guys on the roster who have experience at that position. Chris (Jackson) would certainly be of consideration."

This doesn't make much sense. Why can't they play Perrilloux? And why is he talking like they're gonna run Chris Jackson at QB? I'm a bit confused.

Well, we know why you're not coaching college football...

Maybe because Perrilloux is red-shirting this year and it would be complete stupidity to play him and waste the red-shirt.

It makes plenty of sense to me. THINK...:dis:

Mmmm...I thought bowl games don't count as a regular season game, hence Red Shirted players can play without fear of messing up their season?

Also, even if we didn't redshirt Perrilloux this season (if it does count against him) We'll still have J Marc next season and Perrilloux can still be redshirted then. Not saying I like the plan, but, you know.

Why the hell would Chris Jackson play QB? He's got to be kidding, right? Also, Skyler Green at QB? Giving him some more piece of that pie...THE DUDE IS 5'5 AND CAN'T THROW!!! lol...... I think Miles was drunk off his ass when he said this...

We have Flynn and the Walk-on QB. JaMarcus will probably be able to play so it wont matter. Perilloux is out of the question.

JR will be very questionable if it is a seperated shoulder, at best he won't be able to practice until right before the game. I don't see him being ready in 3 weeks.

The RP comment makes sense. Don't waste a redshirt if in fact a bowl game counts against the red-shirt. Why in the hell doesn't he say that Matt Flynn will be the QB if JR isn't ready. That is the only legitimate option you have and Flynn is the best option you have. He is good and can scramble really well. Why muddy the water with saying we may play CJ or SG at QB? This is a completely dumb statement by Miles. Flynn is the 2nd string QB and everybody knows he will play if JR isn't 100%. Why try to hid something with your ambiguous comments? Is he trying to throw the opponent off? That would be dumb. We all know those guys will not play QB but maybe a couple of special plays? THis whole statement makes no sense. The RP comment does but he should've stopped there.

Why in God's name would you even consider burning Ryan Perrilloux's red shirt for a meaningless Peach Bowl game? That's just ludicrous.

PLEASE SHUT UP ABOUT THIS BEING A MEANINGLESS GAME!

This game has HUGE implications in terms of recruiting...

But I do agree that RP shouldn't and won't play
