I am blown away by the awful phone calls on Baton Rouge radio shows. It's as if no one screens them. They let anyone on and they talk 15 minutes about nothing. Id much rather hear the hosts breaking down games or talking with guests than these callers.
Well I listen to other radio stations online. I like to listen to Alabama radio as well as some stuff out of Houston. I listen to BR b/c I like to hear about LSU. The callers are terrible. Not one show in BR gets good guests. No one talks to head coaches. It's week of UGA game. I want to hear from some Georgia people. I know it's not easy but someone on a local show needs to get Mark Richt or a coordinator or someone. No more callers
The Fastest Hour on 1210 usually gets those types of guests, or at least the opposing team's local beat writers. If I remember right, they had ULL's coach and maybe they got Mullen to call too. I don't remember.
Id like to hear someone atleast attempt to talk with the opposing head coach or coordinators. A little effort or something

All of the Baton Rouge sports talk radio shows get get great callers. Mike From Plaquemine calls all of the shows. :lol:
If you listen really well, you'll catch Tirk on lockofthaweek Fridays. I started out 0-1 and quit calling Ott.
