Do you think Saban would draft JR when JR leaves for the NFL? Just curious what the forum thinks. At this point JR would have more mobility then Culpepper and should be able to out perform Culpepper in his current condition. Harrington has not shown much either. We know Saban likes to draft players from the SEC and especially players from LSU. Do you think he would take a chance? :helmet: :tigerhead :helmet: :tigerhead :geauxtige  LSU!
He took a chance when he recruited him to play at LSU, don't think it'd be taking too big of a chance. He'll be a great NFL quarterback too.
My tiger friend, let me fore warn you of the onslaught of JR haters that are about to come flying at you. Let me also warn you that your comment will probably attract it's fair share of Miles haters. Just wanted to warn you that the haters are about to come from the woods, in full force!
I don't think Saban would take him in the first round but in the second Im sure. Cause the way the fish are going, they'll have a high pick in all rounds in the draft. JR has all the tools to be a great QB in the NFL. But he'll need the proper coaching and Saban knows that.
Thanks Dallas, I figured that but it is a forum for opinions and I can back mine with facts (don't plan to cause I won't change any minds). In all honestly just trying to get the thread moving for the noobie, but I don't mind being the sacrificial lamb. :hihi: I don't agree with everyone all the time and don't expect them to always agree with me. Your warning made me laugh, I like the wording!
no idea what JR will do in the NFL but are you serious? whats your definition of quick? tom brady? carson palmer? maybe peyton manning? eli? bledsoe? not even gonna attempt to spell the statue for the stealers big ben. im trying to remember the last time JR stumbled on his drop. sure its happened but its not an epidemic or something. and where does the Auburn game fit into this? the 1 sack Auburn had was late in the game on a scramble and its not like he was being hit all day.
In his mind, JR is a bumbling QB tripping all over himself....But in reality--it's just like you said.
