Where does LSU fit? I don't think LSU is in the Top tier of programs but LSU is firmly on the cusp of Top 10 all programs with their third MNC. I'm not going to rank them because it's too tough but in my mind I would group them as follows: Top 5: 'Bama, ND, USC, Michigan, tOSU Top 5-9 worthy: Nebraska, Miami, OU, Texas 10-12: LSU, Penn State, Tenn (Harvard, Navy, Army and some of the schools with early successes left out because quite frankly, they aren't going to be relevant ever again in CFB)
