1. Looks like deciding factor was SEC record. If so, why bother posting the other stats (ie. the ones we beat Florida in?)
  2. I guess if you look at it;

    4 push columns (record, sec title games, sec titles, national titles)
    3 Florida wins (W-L Sec, W-L top 25, top 25 finish)
    2 LSU wins (Bowl Wins, and top 10 finishes)

    so 3 to 2 Florida.
    kinda makes sense.
  3. seems about right to me
  4. Crazy that LSU had 2 5-loss seasons and did not finish ranked in either. Florida had 3 5-loss seasons , and finished two of them ranked #25 and the other ranked #24.
  5. might be good to see h2h and oppt win %, but really its a push.
  6. Really all that matters is both have 2 BCSNC trophies... that speaks enough for both teams.
  7. You know looking at that and we LSU fans complain all the time.
    Geez we have had it good the last 10 years...
  8. Seriously, it's arguing for the opinion of a writer as top team in the SEC for the decade. The fact we are in the argument shows where we're at. Truthfully, I would give the nod to Florida because they have more momentum ending the decade than we do and they had a better head-to-head record against us (barely though, 6-4)
  9. Not really... they ended the decade with a loss to Bama, we ended it with a win over Arky. I'd say we finished stronger.
