Rant about LSU ticket office procedures...

Ugh. I didn't realize that only hours you earned AT LSU not TOTAL hours count towards your priority when ordering student tickets. I went to BRCC for a year where I earned the majority of my credit hours. I started LSU last fall. Last week they had my transcript all screwed up showing I only have 12 total hours when I really have 24 LSU hours and 60 hours total. Finally had that issue resolved. I get to work extra early today so I can be prepared to get my tickets. Only to get online to find that it was saying I couldn't get tickets until next week. So I was like Oh geez, transcript screwed up again... so I call them. That's when I find out it's only LSU hours that count, and not total hours. Needless to say I'm currently angry and disappointed.

    /end rant

Note: I still love LSU and football, and I can understand why they do it this way, but it makes it harder for transfer students like myself to obtain tickets. I'm still going to try next Wednesday, but at the moment I'm really perturbed.

It clearly states that only hours completed at LSU are used for priority in ordering student tickets. It was in the email you received.

I realize this but I didn't notice that until today. Guess I skimmed over it. I'm not trying to put the stink on them or anything of that nature, I was just miffed at the time because I'm nervous since I've never done it before. I was also ready to get it over with because of the high demand for the tickets. Oh well, such is life. I'll live until next week.

You guys ever notice if there are any old farts that stay in school & take one class just to keep getting student tickets or do you have to be full time in order to get on the list?

You have to be full-time student. Probably for that very reason.

There was one old guy who was a fulltime student for a LOOONNGGG time and he was always at every LSU sporting event in the student section. He was probably 40.

Have you seen that old guy that wears the girls cheerleader outfit at every game? He's always in the student section.

That's who I am talking about jonathan. Is he still coming to the games, I didn't see him at as many events this year as I did in the past. I would always end up seeing him on tv as well at the SEC Tourney in New Orleans last year and other away games. That guy was everywhere.

I remember a guy... He was very VERY energetic and passionate was he not? Kinda heavy set very very crazy at the games. I wish I could remember his name. I can see him now running around the entire stadium or basketball arena with a LSU flag yelling like a mad man. Perhaps we are talkin about the same one...
