Last year the Rebs only won three games and Coach O had a surprisingly great recruiting year. Rivals has them at #4 in the nation for '07 as it stands now. :rofl: I'm not sure I see another win for the rest of this year! The Egg Bowl should be cancelled. It would be detrimental to the mental health of the players from either school to be the loser in this one!!!!! Very true Col Reb, I couldn't understand why OM got rid of him. Coach O is finding out there are two parts to the equation recruiting AND coaching ! You have to be able to do something with talent once it arrives on campus. At least until now Coach O has not demonstrated the ability to coach a team. If OM doesn't begin to win, he won't be able to recruit. I'm speculating that alot of his "sell" to recruits was to come and be part of something new and successful at OM. At some point, that dog won't hunt no mo !
Ole Miss has always had classy, respectful fans, and a beautiful campus. I hate to see you guys have a bad year. Good luck for the rest of the season, Rebs.
You have lost your mind AGAIN. Ole Miss fans are the WORST fans ever. You may have been to the grove a time or two to see Bama squeek one by, but you need to go when they play LSU. I am sure Col Reb can back me on this one, they are satan reincarnated when we come to town. They curse and throw things at you. The tailgating will NOT Hotty Totty you then offer you some crappy food on nice plates. I kinda like it. Brings that ole rivalry back from long ago that my father and grandfather would always talk about. I know that they are just bitter.
You haven't been to Florida, clearly. Just like most places, there are some game-day hooligans at Ole Miss, but on the whole I think it is a good game day experience.
We made the road trip last year to Ole Miss and MS. I can't say that I had anything thrown at me and the people were pretty nice. I think I found the "Grove" but i'm not sure. If the grove is where all the frat people stand around and puke then yeah i found it. P.S. If you think you wan't to go to a M. State away game you should because they have A/C in the consession areas. It was worth the trip just for that. Would definately be nice for this 11:30 B.S. we have to deal with this weekend.

You didn't quote anyone so I’m not sure who the old timer thing was directed towards, but I'm 25. Hopefully that doesn't constitute being an old timer. :yelwink2:
Or USC. I don't know if you've heard that some of their students went into the AZ student section and started commotion.... arrests were made, etc.
