http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/player/profile?playerId=15369 Looks like he's averaging 14.8 MPG and 4.8 PPG. :dis:
Looks like, at least for the moment, that Regis is finding out that the "grass isn't always greener on the other side"?? I won't gloat and rub his face in it and say "Ha! That's good for you for leaving us." or anything--but I do hope he ends up getting better results in the future so that he ends up with a clean conscious for making his decision.
You are a nicer guy than I am then, b/c I personally hope that he and Ross Neltner fall on their faces... Anyone who leaves b/c of "playing time" is just someone too scared to go 100% to earn his spot
It would be hard for him to see any more playing time. His shooting is slightly better (.448 vs .398 at LSU) but still isn't on the level of starting small forwards. He couldn't throw it in the ocean at LSU it seemed.
Ross Neltner should have left. He was getting shafted and didn't agree with the offensive philosophy. Regis on the other hand was pathetic while at LSU.
Ross probably thinks he can shoot better than he actually can. He was looking for a motion offense (WV, Vandy) where everyone on the court is asked to shoot it from downtown. That offensive philosophy sucks. What happens when you go 5 for 30? Oh yeah, thats right... you lose to Marshall.
