According to Jimmy Ott today, Jason Spadoni has decided to stay at LSU. I believe he has grade issues and may not be able to play this season, but he's here and is sticking it out. Ken Hollis, the JC LB is participating in the 7 on 7 drills and looking good. Mauck, Flynn, and Russell all looking good throwing the ball. The receivers are amazing. The 3 incoming freshmen all look great and ready to step in. This will allow Clayton to move to safety if needed. Bowe was said to look the best of the three newcomer, but all of them are outstanding. Broussard is down to his playing weight of 225. There had been some reports that he had gained weight and was out of shape, but those are not accurate. The kid is there and ready to challenge for playing time.
I'm excited to hear about the 3 WRs hitting the ground running. I can't wait to see them on the field wearing that purple and gold. Did any of the QBs standout above the other? Was anyone overly impressive? Should Mauck or Randal have anything to worry about early fall? :lsug:
Don't know the answer to the Randall question. I don't get the Ott show. I'm in West Monroe. I got the information second-hand.
I caught part of the little otters show and what I heard was that that Mauck and Flynn were almost carbon copy's of each other with Flynn having the better arm, did not hear Randall or Russell mentioned . Everything else that is posted is the same as what I heard. GOOOO TIGERS!
