is Tampa Bay the only team he tried out for? if so, he's 1-for-1 in making NFL teams when he tries out for them. just because Tampa Bay waived him doesn't mean he won't be trying out for other NFL teams. for example, the Bucs also signed then waived Ryan Baker (who was our #1 LB in tackles last season) and now he'll be trying out with the Saints tomorrow

also, Tampa Bay themselves might not be done with him. they cut JJ because Da'Quan Bowers just tore his Achilles tendon, so they had to add another DL to replace him, and since they can only have 90-men on their roster, they cut JJ to make room for the new DL. if another spot opens up on their 90-man roster, JJ might be the first guy they call

he probably already has it by now, being that he was only 9 hours away from it back in January before the spring semester began

The Tampa Bay coaches obviously didn't go to the Manning camp.

I find it interesting that this forum has 3 threads on JJ and none on our current qb...Mett. JJ is gone.

    Its rather simple.

This is a dead period for college football talk. Kids have wrapped up their spring classes and have a few weeks off before the summer classes and workouts begin.

The NFL has started rookie mini camps and there is plenty of news on that front. Including for us, JJ news.

I'm glad we are not talking about Mett right now. If we were it would most likely be bad news.
