His arm, coachability, and leadership says he'll go pretty high... Aaron Murray is in the same boat as Mett, and he won't last long on the draft boards either.

I hate it for Mett. Would have loved to seen him go out slinging TD's to OBJ and JL one more time, but as someone else said, I am also excited to see more of Jennings.

This will be yet another setback that he will overcome.

    Mark my word.

Bad news for Mett, I really feel bad for him. He became a much more mature and complete QB this season. However it could actually be a positive for next years team. Jennings gets 3 to four weeks of first team reps with heavy coaching and gets 4 quarters of big game action against what should be a quality team. It could really advance his football education and experience.

Just think about the possibility of a starting AJ with a back up BH... preparing for this offense next season will be a nightmare for opposing DCs, especially if you add a Fournette/Blue/Magee backfield with that 2 headed moster of QBs.

Avery Johnson should come on big time too, and with the emergence of Travin Dural... we look to be goot WR too.

Now that I think about how awesome would it be if Denver drafted him. Manning can't have too many years left, he could learn under him and be the successor. That would be an ideal situation for him I would think.

    Ooooh, I really like that.

BTW, I used to live about four or five blocks down Jefferson Ave. from Isadore Neuman where the Manning boys played HS ball. I think these two guys would really connect. Great comment.

Gene, next time you talk to Zach's family please express to him how honored and thankful LSU fans feel for the time Zach played here. He represented LSU with class, dignity, and effectiveness.

He made watching the offense fun this year. He is tough as nails. Gonna miss him.
