Just wondering why he doesn't see the field more? This is not a bash on Miles or anyone else. It's just my opinion.

I don't think you can draw that conclusion from this one game. He did get 2 offensive rotations in a row which is more than the other backs received. I'd personally like to see more Scott and Williams. I've said it before, I'm not a big fan of running back by committee but it is sure nice to have a stable full. :D

I can't comfortably say he's the best back on the team because I wouldn't know. However, I agree with you about wanting to see more of him on the field and I believe we will. He's going to be a very exciting player for us in the future.

Miles is not going to play an inexperienced RB early in the season unless it's mop up duty. We've been down this road before, as he sticks with the veterans.

I doubt we'll see much of him this weekend. He should get more touches against MTSU and Tulane.

All we saw was one game but what they've done in practice has determined the touches they've gotten in our first game. RP, for example, did look good in that game; however, at practices his throw were not accurate- he was having troubles with "Touch" passes and had some int's.

Perrilloux's ability to make first downs and produce a consistent offense is a concern. I thought, in the Miss St. game, he showed he can definitely come in as a "Tebow type" but until a player gets it done, consistently, in practice- their playing time will reflect that. After that, how they do in the game will be another test.

To relate this to your question, I'd imagine the coaches are basing their decisions on much of the same, in relation to our RB's. We know they are all good and have different strengths- though imo, Hester is the best All-around, they'll all be used and it will be benficial to have so much depth. :thumb:

I think inexperience in pass blocking is a big reason. Hester has that experience and has proven to be a good blocker and great hands out of the back field. Personally if we are going to run between the tackles I would rather see Hester. The dude is a horse and doesn't stop pushing forward.

But I would like to see more KW, RM, & Scott but the O-line has to help them out.
