The NFL offered him a sweet deal in which he could have served his 4 game suspension this year instead of the beginning of next season.

    He rejected it.

The NFL should not have kowtowed to his idiot in the first place. Now they look like idiots themselves.

I saw the report on ESPN, Andrea Krammer I believe is the one covering this story.
Ricky Williams is renting a house in California somewhere going to some college.
He paid rent for a year because he doesn't know what is happening to his money situation.

He is said to be happy in his new life but Andrea Krammer points out that he has kids
in Fort Lauderdale staying in his house with their mother but sounds like he's going to
lose the house by not making the mortgage payment.
They think he is in denial about his finances because those kids and their mother won't have anywhere to go, its like he doesn't have any responsibilities or brushed aside the kids, child support and everything else for pot.

What an idiot and a pot head

I couldn't care less what Ricky does. If it makes him happy and it's what he wants to do, more power to him.

The NFL screwed up if they wanted him back. They just needed to offer him a pound of gaaanja for every game he plays. :D

Andrea Kramer also reported that his new best friend is someone who he met at Radio Shack.

Why would you even divulge info like that in an interview?

You must have forgotten who we're talking about. It's not like this guy is the king of sound judgement or anything.

Because all news channels are fixated on personal tradgedy, lurid details, and hype. OJ started the trend due to the amount of money he made the news channels, thanks a lot Juice.
