1. Sitting at 640 thru 6 games....im thinking he easily surpasses the 1000 yard mark...I believe that would make him the 9th tiger to do this?

    Final number 1186 yards
  2. You're crazy if you think he gets 1186 yards.........................1182 tops.
  3. I like Ridley ... he's the best back LSU has had in a long time. He is a play maker and gets the job done when it needs to be done.

    :geaux:
  4. Probably closer to 1186.
  5. hester
    vincent
    toefield
    faulk
    williams
    alexander
    stovall
    cannon?
  6. 1189 3/4 :yelwink2::hihi:;)
  7. Stovall and Cannon never got 1000 yards in a season. I think the first was Robiske
  8. not cannon, toefield, or stovall...

Robiskie, Hillard, and Chuck the truck
  9. 640 yards in 6 games is an average of 106.6 yards per game. Over a 12 game season (unlikely with Bama, AU and the Pigs still left to play), that would be 1279 yards, tied for 3rd best in school history. This year's media guide gives the top ten rushing seasons of all time, and all were thousand yarders:

    1. Alexander ('77) - 1686
    2. Faulk ('96) - 1282
    3. Faulk ('98) - 1279
    4. Hilliard ('84) - 1268
    5. Scott ('08) - 1174
    6. Alexander ('78)- 1172
    7. Faulk ('97) - 1144
    8. Hilliard ('85) - 1134
    9. Robiskie ('76) - 1117
    10. Hester ('07) - 1105

There may have been others, but they're not listed.
  10. Stovall and Cannon also played in a 10-game season and played both offense and defense.
