Ok, this poll might not be suitable for this exact board, but it will get the most votes, so I thought I would post this here...

What about Bowling Green, they had a hand in it as well.

    Bowling Green Reality??

i dont remember where i read so, but it was very recently and from a very reliable source, but apparently people are mistakenly blaming bowling green for some of our troubles this year. Apparently people are failing to realize that Bowling Green backed out of a game scheduled not for this season, but rather for the previous one. Perhaps they should be removed from our current shitlist.

    Here:

I found it...was in the Advocate.....

TIME TO MOVE ON: Bowling Green continues to be unfairly criticized locally when the reasons for the strength of LSU's 2003 schedule are discussed. Bowling Green cancelled a trip to Tiger Stadium in 2002, not this season.

At one of his weekly news luncheons early this season, Saban inadvertently listed Bowling Green as one of the schools that backed out of playing LSU. That seems to have added fuel to the misunderstanding.

LSU Senior Associate Athletics Director Dan Radakovich confirmed again Saturday that delaying a game against Troy State until 2004 was the main reason LSU scheduled UL-Monroe this season. Western Illinois was a late replacement for Marshall, which paid a penalty to cancel its trip to Baton Rouge so it could play a televised home game on a Friday night against a conference rival.

Bowling Green's cancellation in 2002 led LSU to schedule a game against The Citadel. The Tigers won, 35-10.

Ok, I apologize. I couldn't remember when the game was scheduled, but just today I read on Dandy Don's website that Bowling Green and Marshall had both backed out this year.
