I just looked at the Rivals rankings of pro prospects. They ranked the seniors and juniors I assume they thought probable to come out early. There was no Russell or Dorsey on the list. The big highlights are Quinn #1, Landry #9, and Bowe #79. Bowe #79! I know Bowe is at times liable to drop an easy pass, but improved his hands a lot this year. The guy makes some big catches, plus a great blocker. Bowe is much, MUCH better than the #79 player coming out.

It wont let me post the link, but its on Rivals.com right now.

#79 might be a bit low. I see him going anywhere from mid 2nd to late 2nd round. #79 projects out to mid 3rd round.

I think he shed his image of being someone who doesn't focus enough to be consistent with catching the easy balls this past season.

NFL scouts have got to be drooling over his size. He's a Jevon Walker type receiver.

What is Bowe's speed in the 40? Maybe that's his problem.

I can't believe they did not include Russell or Dorsey on their list. What are they thinking of. All indications are Russell will go in the first round.

Maybe they're thinking he'll stay another year.

Most of the sites I have read have Dorsey in the top 2 at DT and a possible top 15 pick... if the draft advisory people agree, say goodbye to Mr. Dorsey.

If they are, they are the only ones.

I guess 79 isnt quite as bad as I initially thought. A mid 3rd round isnt too bad. The number just appeared to be much worse to me. I cant see Bowe lasting to the mid 2nd round though. He has good enough speed to get open down the field. He is dangerous after the catch with his size. Plus he is an excellent blocker. His hands have greatly improved. Bowe has proven to be a go to guy who can come up big.

For some reason it appears they arent expecting Russell and Dorsey to come out after this year. Im assuming thats the only reason they werent ranked.

Look where espn's draft board has LSU players. It's kind of surprising, but I don't see Bowe going first round. I think Landry, Doresy, and Russell would all be first round though.

bowe doesnt have the speed to get yac in college--scouts know he wont in the nfl either. possession receivers rarely go in first round. actually think bowe's tools and strengths are much like clayton's. maybe he'll get lucky. mostly depends on combine, but also how many other good wrs there are and if there is a bunch together or many with quiter higher ratings.
