    If memory serves me correctly, Robert Royal caught the TD pass from Rohan in 2001 to beat Tenn. in overtime on the very first play of overtime.

    Wait, I thought that pass was to Josh Reed? Not Robert Royal. I remember that being a bang-bang play, and usually tight-ends don't have those... hehe

    It was in 2000 but yes, Royal caught the td pass on the first play. In 2001, LSU lost to Tenn. in Knoxville then of course we got sweet revenge in the SEC Championship game.

    The value of a good tight end.. we had some decents ones... Nicky Savioue (or however you spell it), David LaFleur, Robert Royal... I have always been a big believer in the value of the TE...
