1. Reports are that he is staying for LESS money. Bammer reportedely stunned! I don't think (IMHO) that Saban will go either. I can't help but think that living under the Bear's shadow isn't something coaches want to do. They just don't give coaches a chance. Whoever takes the job won't be there long, anyway. Saban had it made at  and didn't stay. Nobody has it made at Bammer.
  2. Saban is not going to Bama. I don't have any sourcres to confirm this other then logic and common sense.

  3. What is really sad---That is the price head coaches pay for success. They lose their coordinators.
  4. Saban thrives on challenges.. this would be the ultimate for him... he hates miami... period... i need this search to get over with.. and I pray that saban does not come..

I repeat my statement from good sources that yesterday Mal presented to the board of trustees that Saban gave his word to Mal that he would be their coach. He could not negotiate until after Dec 31st. The board was split and after long talks.. they went with the offer to Rodriguez
  5. I meant to clarify that if Jimbo leaves to go to Florida State... that would be a very sad note to LSU.
  6. Yes. That would be sad. To lose a coordinator to another program AS A COORDINATOR! That would suck.:bncry:
  7. Great post!!! Point made, point taken!!! Bring him on!!!!
  8. You can't thrive on challenges and give up in the pros after 2 seasons.

  9. You ain't lyin', cuz! I could see losing him to a head coaching position...but to make a lateral move would not make sense.
