I read somewhere that Jimbo Fisher is getting Rohan Davey to come down for the summer and work with Ryan Perrollouix. Doesn't that seem a bit odd that he would only work with one qb? I think JaMarcus and Matt Flynn need that kind of help as well. Has anyone heard anymore info on this?

Maybe he feels Jamarcus and Matt already have their hold on the system, whereas Rohan can come down with a raw slate with RP and work with him?

No NFL Europe for Rohan this year? Wasn't he MVP last year?

Maybe he and New England feel that he has proved himself and doesn't need to risk injury.

I'd think tearing up the league the way he did last summer proves pretty clearly there's no need for him to go to Europe again.

Also, at this time last year, Rohan was the #3 QB on the depth chart (or, at least, not a clear #2 over Damon Huard). Now that he's the clear #2, sending him to Europe and possibly getting him hurt makes little sense.

I wonder if the player could still play in NFLE if he wanted too if the team he is under contract to didn't? Probably not I am guessing.

No offense to Rohan, but he doesn't exactly have the best mechanics to be teaching someone how to be a QB. I understand that he's beloved by all, but there are better people out there right now.

There is a lot more to playing QB than just mechanics. Davey knows Fisher's system and can probably help our QBs with understanding the offense, reading defenses, etc.

And maybe a little of Davey's leadership qualities will rub off...

And I'm sure Davey's mechanics improved quite a bit in the last two years. You don't play for the New England Patriots and not learn something! :thumb:

Let's get a link or official word on this before I believe it.

If Rohan came down, I am sure he would work with everyone and not just 1 QB. That would be quite absurd.
