What about Patriots Defensive Coordinator Romeo Crennel as our next head coach?

We had luck with one Belischek defensive coordinator.

Crennel was named NFL Assistant Coach of the Year last year by the Pro Football Writers.

    24 Years in the NFL

    Former Parcells assistant coach

    4 Superbowls

Good choice for the Saints new HC

I'm not ready to give up on Nick staying, however.

I mentioned Crennel as one of my "short list" of coaches IF Saban goes.

...I don't know about the rest of you, but don't you feel a bit of guilt even mentioning another coach's name, knowing that Saban isn't even go for sure, but you just can't help but brainstorm coaches from accross the country because you're scared that NS leaves and we're not prepared enough to strike up a coaching search? (and don't for one minute think that Skip doesn't have a gameplan for whatever outcome we get)
