I thought the Rose Bowl held over 100,000; how come the anounced attendance was only 93,000. If the Superdome held 100,000+ it would sell out there would not be 7000 more seats.
Doesn't suprise me. Michigan didn't have anything on the line really, and USC fans don't care about their team enough to go the games.
at one time, I think 1972, it held about 105,000 but they had to change something a few years back and now it hold about 93,000
yep, they did. Don't know why but they lost about 10,000 seats in the past 20 years. I think they did something to accomadate USC and UCLA using it when the LA Col, underwent renovations a while back and UCLA decided to stay there, they have a little brother complex with USC. Maybe it was a new press box.
USC fans do suck...they only had 65K for their final game versus Oregon State in a stadium that could hold up to 105K...dirty bastards
superdome seats superdome usually holds 70,000--but they are increasing the capacity for the sugar bowl on sunday..SROs, etc.
