CSTV breaks down RP one of the analyst was none other than Gerry "Bring Back The Magic" Dinardo http://www.collegesports.com/cgi-bin/csvideo.cgi go to the video that says Perrilloux Chooses LSU
I was looking at his stats from his senior season, this is unbelievable.... Passing 3,546 yards passing and 30 TD's 1,460 yards rushing and 37 TD's from the QB position Is that accurate? That's unbelievable! I haven't found his completion/attempt numbers, but Tom Lemming says he has "pin point accuracy". In his HS career, he had 155 total TD's (84 passing, 71 rushing) with 9,025 passing yards and 3,680 rushing yards. That's amazing! Before reading this, I was under the impression that he was a Michael Vick type QB, great runner, but could improve passing, but with these stats, that proves that his passing is just as impressive, if not better than his running ability.
I would love to be able to watch Spring practice battle between Russell and Perriloux... the more I think about it... the more I think Perriloux may get the start... but JaMarcus will be much improved next year with some competition in camp. Add: Miles CANNOT use the two QB system... he has to pick the best opinion and go with it....
Does JR have the 'fire' to compete? As successful as he was in hs, Id have to think theres a lot more we can expect of this kid if he finds it at this level. If not, RP will have his shot earlier than I'd like to think.
Yea Texastigers, I can go with that! The guy is made for that kind of job, as he's pretty articulate and likeable.
I heard Mike Detillier today talking about RP. He said RP is not only the best qb he's ever seen (in this region), but the best football player in general he has ever seen. All highschool, of course.
