Just saw a thread on TD.com about Juan Kinkaid reporting on WWL about, "an injury in a very physical practice" today in Indy (don't shoot the messenger, no idea if this is legit, just passing along as a rumor).

Word is it's Magnum, and he hyperextended a knee that Brady sez, "looks worse than it is".

Hope it's not true...and, if it is, that Mag is ok for Saturday.

OTOH, ESPN.com reports UCLA's backup center broke his nose yesterday in practice, will wear a facemask on Saturday.

Looks like both teams are preparing for an ugly game.

    not really...

It sure does suck for Magnum, but we can handle UCLA inside with just 3 bigs...

Glad to see that the Tigers went hard today... Injury or not, it is good to hear, they are taking a business-like attitude with them

Depends on what kind of foul trouble we get into with Tyrus & Big Baby. Could end up being completely unimportant - could be a pretty big deal.

WWL radio just reported the injury is not expected to keep Magnum out of the lineup Saturday.

    well there ya go! :)

Magnum is just a guy needed if we need someone for foul problems like CP said...

UCLA won't throw it into the post on us, so I don't think it'd have been an issue either way, but for his development in the future, it will be good to have him on the floor

They got JD in pretty bad foul trouble...Your guys (especially Thomas) have to be careful rebounding. If they get too aggressive on the boards, they could get into the same foul trouble Davidson got into.

Do you think they are scared? I dont...I think the'll go down low a lot, plus drives from Bozeman and Farmar.
