I am relatively young, so maybe you old timers  can think of some other ones. But compared to the people I have seen, I would have to think he would have close to the strongest. I am mainly speaking in NFL terms, not guys that threw the ball across a lake 40 yards below them. Thoughts/comparisons?
You know, since my alzheimer's, I probably know but just can't remember right off. :hihi: No offense to anyone with loved ones who have it, my mother was diagnosed with it and I know it's not really a laughing matter. :thumb:
It's hard to say, you never get to see QB's chuck it as far as they can so its more of a how hard do they throw kind of thing. For current QB's Mike Vick's gotta be up there, that is when he's not gettin high with sticky ricky
The thing with JR's arm is that he throws it as far as the guys considered to have the all time big arms with the flick of his wrist. We have never seen him set back take a few steps forward and just let it fly. He never needed to do this because he could get it there with just his arm.
I think Russell has the strongest arm of all time. Even 4 time Super bowler Terry Bradshaw expressed his amzement with that arm. The older folks here will tell you some names, but those guys were old legends, and people seem to think greater of them as time passes by. Russell has the strongest arm of all time, and he "may be" the biggest QB of all time (Im not sure about it though..):thumb: btw, my favorite topics are those about JR, so thanks for the thread:grin:
Terry Bradshaw was also a big quarterback with a long arm. He wears four Super Bowl rings and I'd put him a head of Russell at this point.
