Did you read the whole article? It said he wore #4 at LSU when he got there, but that he would wear #2 as a Raider. They even made reference of it being Brooks' old #.:thumb:

gosh, I hope that #2 isn't cursed! Remember how good Brooks was at Virginia and when he got to the NFL he went south, and I'm not talking about New Orleans south.

i do like this quote tho ... "Somebody hired a Jugs machine and put a jersey on it," wide receiver Jerry Porter joked. "Man, he can throw. I can see why he's the first overall pick. One word -- wow."

Good Luck JR -- go long on play #1 :thumb:

Living in the bay area the Raiders were really the only team in the area i didnt have much interest in.

Now i find myself looking at them and pulling for Jamarcus at least.

Might have to check out a few games now.

Have a buddy that is a huge raider fan. I have given him alot of grief over the past few years.

I wonder if he will let me on the bandwagon. Or at least watch it go by on gameday !!!

    :hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

No Jr....I've been one since 1970. I was confused about the numbers 4 to 2. I knew that JR wore 4 at one time, then 2.

Yeah but,....how in hell can you not know what number our freaking QB was wearing?

I mean...he's only the damn QB. He's out there every play on offense. It's not like he's a number 4 WR that only sees action 4 or 5 times per game. I could see maybe being confused about a lineman's number, they all look the same, but we're talking about a 6'6" 265 lbs black guy behind center. How do you not notice what number he is?

Don't call a Marine "Jr" unless you would do it to his face.
