1. and JR only had 2 300 yard games in his entire career. Discuss.
  2. but jR had zero games with crowton calling the plays
  3. stats are not really relevant in games againt cupcake opponents. any lsu quarterback can throw for as many yards as the coaches let him in these games.
  4. i'd agree, but didn't JR play against quite a few of the flying martins as well?
  5. again, yards is a function of how many they want or how many the coaches let them have. of course JR played some cupcakes. he could have thrown for 400 if it would have made you happy. no point.

it is like analyzing practice stats and crediting one guy because he threw for 30 minutes longer in practice.

  6. Ryan Perrilloux is the next Vince Young. Mark it 8, Dude.
  7. It was good to see Perriloux having more than just a couple of pages of the playbook to run. I thought he did very well, except for the two interceptions, obviously (I know, officially only one int. But I thought the Zinger play should have been ruled an int, not a fumble). Clearly he's got the ability to make all of the throws and is an outstanding runner. Just needs experience, which is another reason why it was a good decision by CLM to sit Flynn tonight. BTW, I'll give credit to MTSU's defense. Thought they were much more aggressive, and quicker, than VaTech. We just outclassed them.
  8. He only threw 1 Interception though
  9. Damn RP looked good. :thumb:
  10. RP has out of this world potential. Ryan P. to Tolliver is gonna be a great connection next season.
