"if I could get the kind of money im getting now and just teach secondary, I would" What was he teaching in the capitol one bowl? comments on his comments?
That sorry bastard. We should have fired him when we had the chance. :dis: By the way. Do you work for free?
When did I rip him for leaving? Maybe I just believed that he honestly wanted completely control of a team or the challenge of the NFL.
Nick Saban will go down in history as one of the Top 3 LSU Heroes of All Time, in my humble opinion. No LSU fan should maintain any hard feelings against him whatsoever.
Lets be real. Everything we do is to better ourselves. As much as we think there is still loyalty in sports, its really all about the money. If a coach has an oppurtunity to leave to better himself, theres nothing wrong with that.
I think a lot of LSU fans were "hurt" to know that Saban really didn't give a rats ass about the team or the state and that it was all about the money. Man needs to make money right? 5 years... it was all business... The plans for transfer to the dolphins had been in place since around sept-oct last year...
i've never said anything bad about saban when he left, but i will now. he left and that's fine, but be a man and tell the truth. it is ONLY about the money, not the challenge or the power or the stage. its one thing to give money priority over the other things (even when you make several mil a year), but the lying adds insult to injury and is WRONG.
