We love him, wished he would have never left, want him back and know he'll not only beat us this year but also take Bama to the NC game.

    Next question.........

    BTW, welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum! I'll try to be nice. :hihi: I think Saban is a great coach...and recruiter. I think he is a definite upgrade for Bama. I think we have enough of our own folks posting threads about our former coach...without rival posters starting threads about him. I think it remains to be seen how he will do at Bama...and how long he will stay. I think I am ready for football season to start. 24 minutes 'til August...then the countdown begins!:thumb:

When I saw Chuck Norris leaving the State of Alabama, I had to ask him why. He told me that Alabama wasn't big enough for him and Saban, and he was getting out while the gittin wuz good. If Chuck was clearing out I knew I had better make tracks too. I thought I was safe in BR, but ran into my old Jedi Master and he told me of a disruption in the force. I knew I had finally discovered safe refuge from Saban in West Texas because no one wants to tangle with a crazy man and Mike Leach is one crazy man (I mean, really, Pirates on the South Plains....)

    And Happy BDAY

Geese, another damn Saban thread.

Well here is a recap of everything I have posted in response to Saban threads:
He was a good coach for Michigan State, a great coach for LSU, an unsuccessful head coach in the NFL. LSU has never lost to a Saban coached team and I expect that record to stand for the next two or three years until he leaves the college ranks again for another job. (sorry TerryP and XXLTidefan, I just don't think Nick is a commitment kind of guy).

Now on to more pressing and interesting matters – will State’s offense score on LSU’s 1st team defense? Will State’s defense be able to hang in with our stable of running backs?

It is in LA...which is where he was caught. One over 27" may be kept per day per person.:thumb: FWIW...he was caught during a tourney...and was indeed later released...he was 27 1/8"...ish. I thought he may shrink a little in the livewell...after a little ice bottle and "rejuvenade" bath...but alas...he stayed too big.:angryfire He was almost the perfect fish...:bncry: We had a perfect LENGTH one in the well...but it was a little thin...7.28 lbs. This one was 8.5...and only 1/8" longer...I think he'd just eaten a small nutria.
