Saban to San Diego Chargers??

    Saban knows that Petrino has two or three years to get Atlanta back to the NFC CG or else.

    And Saban still owns that home on Lake Burton just up the road from Flowery Branch where the Falcons have their training facility.

    I'll bet Saban bites in two years...

    I doubt Arthur Blank would ever relinquish complete control of football operations--which is ultimately what Saban wanted when he went to Miami.

    It might have been what Saban wanted when he went to Miami but I bet
    he has learned his lesson.
    It is too difficult for an experienced NFL coach at times to have complete
    control of football operations much less a rookie.
    If Saban goes back to the NFL i'm willing to bet a steak dinner that he at
    least starts out with a gm.

    Marty is staying, so I guess Bama gets to keep Saban. I'm sure Saban's pimp, I mean agent is has to look aroung some more to have some good offers lined up for next year.
