Saban to Washington?

    I just heard on the local sportstalk show in Knoxville that Saban is on the list of candidates for the University of Washington job. Isn't Emmert now there?

    It's just the usual speculation by the media. Washington needs a coach and Emmert who is now the head is the same guy that hired Saban.

    Maybe I'm naive but I don't think Emmert would try to steal Saban away from LSU. Then again he's seen first hand what a winning football program can do for a univeristy so who knows.

    I don't see many people these days with the class and dignity that CNS has.
    Having said that I think its safe to say that his contract stands for something.

    He did sign a contract to coach for LSU for a # of years?
    Correct?

    Contracts mean squat now. He has no buyout clause. But why in the hell would he go to Washington ? That would be a big step backwards. That is just silly.

    I think the fact of the matter is that Saban doesnt have LSU where he wants it to be.. until it is to that point, i dont think he will leave..

    Emmert is a nice guy and I don't believe for one second that he would come back and do that to LSU.

    This doesn't make any sense.

    We won the NC last year and NS doesn't have us where he wants us to be?

    How many times in the history of college football does teams win back to back? :dis:

    The only rumor I give any merit to is the rumor that Nick is taking Brady's spot on the B-ball squad and will coach both....
