Yeah, you have to pledge your strict and undying exclusive allegiance or you will get kicked out of the super secret sections. I got kicked out.
I called the dude a f'n pig because he kept deleting posts of mine that were completely on the up and up about LSU, and I searched and searched for other threads about what I was posting about and I couldn't find any, so I got banned for life for calling the dude a f'n pig. They need to thicken up their skin. I had been on there for like 4 or 5 years, with no trouble, not even a warning or anything, and I get banned for life for one thing. But, this site is a million times better so, maybe I should thank them.
Perfect summary of what goes on there. I lasted less than 1 week there. I made the HUGE "mistake" of saying that Chuck Baker should not have been offered IMO by LSU and called him really another Falkins who committed to Alabama and LSU apparently did not offer. I gave Baker's positives...big...good hands...fights for the ball...can be speedy after several steps, etc. BUT I also gave IMO his weaknesses...on his video clips he neither looks quick nor fast and thus I suggested (like BTW most of the services due by their ratings of him) that he is not an SEC caliber starting WR because he would have trouble getting separation against quality DBs. Then, I {gasp} made the suggestion that he probably should be switched to safety where his size, good hands, and where speed isn't at the same premium as a WR. Then, Jeryl Brazil said something about boards where "fake fans criticize LSU recruits and don't help LSU". First, if I or anyone else is supposedly a "fake fan" for LSU, why should that matter right? I mean, if I'm a latent Alabama fan, that should HELP LSU right by IMO honestly appraising prospects. Second, if Jeryl Brazil or any other prospect can't take some honest criticisms, man I hope they can handle playing in a 3rd and 10 situation on the Arkansas 15 trailing in the 4th quarter...in other words, suck it up!!! Third, several people said that to not be able to express your opinion about the plusses and minuses of prospects is ridiculous as long as you don't personally attack the person or his family which of course I did not. Fourth, amazingly Pagano was savaged after a less than stellar showing at a camp....Marina the OL was made fun of as far as his body appearance, etc. Apparently, no one had a problem with that I assume because he was NOT an LSU commit at this point. I brought that up in a post and some posters agreed there apparently is a double standard and that maybe the Brazil comment was also the difference. Bottom line on TD: 1) tow the party line 2) make friends with the few people who really run the show there (not just moderators but the ones who have posted thousands of times) 3) don't misspell words and most importantly don't say something like "hey Einstein, if you keep calling my posts a waste of time or useless then why the hell are you still reading them?" After I posted that to a couple of people, that was probably the end for me. BTW, there are some good posters there like BigLSUEd, CamdenTiger, etc. I got along with most of the people there but like I said, you make a couple of enemies who run the show, and you are gone!
