All I can think about is if RGIII did what he did to us and he had never even stepped foot on an NFL field beforehand, I can't imagine what Cam Newton is going to do.

I think that the Saints lose a shootout.

Carolina and us were very similar in our losses in Week One

neither of us was able to establish any kind of running game ... we only ran for 32 yards while Carolina only ran for 10 yards ... we threw 52 times and only ran 10, Carolina threw it 33 times and only ran 13

both the Saints and Panthers were dominated when it came to time of possession...Saints only had the ball 21 minutes (Skins had it 39) and the Panthers only had the ball 22 minutes (Bucs had it 38)

neither the Saints or Panthers were able to prevent their opponents from establishing a running game...the Skins ran 44 times v the Saints and only passed 26 ... the Bucs ran 36 times v Carolina and only passed 24 ... both the Saints and Panthers allowed a ROOKIE RB to run for about 100 on them...Morris ran for 96 on the Saints, Martin ran for 95 on the Panthers

while both Brees and Cam threw for 300, both had 2 INTs ... meanwhile neither of our opponents committed any turnovers

New Orleans is currently favored by 2 and a half...and the over / under of 51.5 points is the highest of any game

My heart says, "Saints win by three touchdowns", but my brain says, "Don't ever, ever, ever bet on either an LSU or Saints game!!!"

I'm taking the Saints this weekend, I try my best to stay away from emotional bets (Saints and LSU) but this one is a lock! Here are my other locks for the weekend:

    Patriots -13.5
    Oakland 2.5
    Cowboys -3

Granted I went 1-4 last week but that's why I'm doubling up this weekend because after all it's not the size of the degenerate in the fight, it's the size of the credit limit in the degenerate, well until my bookie comes to collect, then my size could be an issue........don't send hate replies to make me nervous, only inspirational replies puhlease :)

Tigerchick46 --- Good Luck --- I didn't see much of the Panthers last week, but I really think that the Saint's will play a much better game, establish some running which will help the defense. Anyway, my brain says, to my heart, "Are you nuts?" to which my heart responds to my brain, "There's nothing wrong with you brain that a lot of beer can't cure."

I see this game as a total toss up. I think it will come down to the final possession. Like last year in Carolina. Looks like both teams have taken a step back(at least right now) from last year's teams. I'm picking the Saints by 3, but wouldn't be real surprised if they lose by around the same margin. If Atlanta wins, 0-2 could be very hard to come back from and expect to win the division. I think 0-2 pretty much waves goodbye to a 1st round bye as well. Is this game a "must-win?"

Well, barring Drew's force job that gave Carolina a 7-point gift, its been a greatly improved outing. Running the ball better, offense is balanced and a nice goal line stand. Dropped passes at the goal line cost us 4 points.

I was feeling better until the D let Carolina complete a 3rd and 15 for a first down.
