1. The last-minute fanagling to keep 2-3 SEC teams out of the quasi-playoffs will be an interesting albeit predictable site.
  2. they've both shown they will leave a top program.
  3. What's your point? Seems where ever they go they bring undefeated seasons and realistic BCS hopes...
  4. Has Saban ever had an undefeated season? Wait, there might have been one.

Even with all his skill as a coach, he's still needed a good bit of good will and fortune to get where he is. Miles USED to get all the bounces. Lately, he hasn't.

I believe that THIS, above all else, is the only difference between the two of them these days.
  5. You could definitely make that case.
  6. We will all see just how good our coaches are next season...it is going to be a challenge.
  7. We've been decimated by the draft and Bama brings back the core of their championship team. I'm not sure that next year will be a fair barometer. 2014 should be interesting, if we have a capable QB to replace Mett.
  8. So has Miles' "luck" run out?

    Sorry I had to.

  9. I think we saw how good they are this year. And their flaws were highlighted, too. I am a Miles fan, but that offense has GOT to get fixed. It's embarrassing.

With even a little bit better offense, we'd have won the national championship--even with the mass casualties our team suffered before and during the season.

  10. Miles better be at his finishing best this year! We may have won a couple of championships the last few years if our offense would'be only been ranked in the top 40 in the country. Makes no sense to be in the top 10 recruiting classes year in, year out, yet be 80th or lower in offense. gotta be the coaching and schemes.
