Looks fun, sad not to be there. So is 'tiger bait' something you yell at people? To be honest it sort of sounds like theflaming bag of **** gag or something.
Sorry you couldn't make it down! I definitely heard people chanting "Tiger Bait," but I tend not to use it very much. I wouldn't exactly equate it to the flaming bag of crap gag, though. In fact, I don't see any similarity. However, it's a popular one that Tiger fans like to yell at any opposing fans, usually in good fun. I prefer the simple Go Tigers (but when I yell it, I yell Geaux Tigers!) I had one guy yell "Buckeye Bait" towards me last night, which I thought was pretty funny. The reason 'Tiger Bait' works is because a Tiger can/will eat you. I wouldn't ever step into a cage with a Tiger. That being said, I have no problem stepping into a cage with a poisonous nut laying on the ground.:thumb:
haha, When I first heard "watch out for tiger bait" I assumed it was something like that. I guess juvenile things like that are limited to buckeye fans. Yeah, nut in a cage, not so scary. Unless you trip and fall, and it ends up in your mouth.
TIGER BAIT taunt has been going on since time began. It actually began during the "post stone age" era. When hunting wild men challenged their opponents with this very taunt during their expeditions. Although back in those days the guys on the other side were running from "real" Tigers. So don't let it upset you, we're not gonna turn Mike loose when your guys take the field...naaa that would be a little over the top. Would make for a good spot on ESPN though!!! :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
"Tiger Bait" is no where near as intimidating as a bunch of college kids "SPELLING" at you! OH.....IO. I got scared just typing it. :hihi:
